The 60th Meeting of the “Centre européen d’Études bourguignonnes” will be held from 19 to 22 September 2019 in Prague, at Charles University. The theme will be “Contestations, Subversions and Alterities in the Fourteenth to Sixteenth Centuries”. Under this title one should understand all that may seem”out of the norm”, “dissident” at the time in question, in the broadest possible sense, whether religiously – schism, heresies, etc. -political and social – coup d’état, revolts, etc. – but also cultural, behavioral, even sexual. Communications (in French, English or German) can deal with this topic in the field of history, art history, history of literature or archaeology.
Those who wish to present a paper are invited to contact Prof. Alain Marchandisse, Secretary General of the CEEB, at the following address: alain.marchandisse@uliege.be providing the title and a brief summary (5 to 10 lines) of the proposed communication before 15 January 2019 at the latest. The list of papers selected by the Executive Committee of the CEEB will be established in February 2019 and each candidate will be notified personally.
